Sandy Rotman

Sandra Rotman is a leader in many community endeavours. She was honoured with the Order of Ontario in 2006, and was awarded an Honorary LLD from the University of Toronto in 2009. The Association of Fundraising Professionals presented Sandra and Joseph Rotman with the 2009 Outstanding Philanthropists Award. Sandra obtained her degrees from Toronto Teachers College, Columbia University and the University of Toronto. Among her major initiatives is the establishment of the Program in Neuropsychiatry at the Baycrest Center for Geriatric Care, the Sandra Rotman Chair in Social work at the University of Toronto and the Sandra Rotman Chair in Health Sector Strategy at The University of Toronto and The University Health Network. Sandra is an active member of the advisory Board to Sotheby’s Canada International and of the Board of Directors at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
