Lori Spadorcia

Lori Spadorcia is a seasoned executive in strategy, communications, and systems transformation. A thought leader with a demonstrated commitment to engaging partners and influencing public policy, Lori is dedicated to driving social change.

As CAMH’s Senior Vice-President, Public Affairs and Partnerships and Chief Strategy Officer, she leads cross-organization strategic initiatives including the academic health centre’s role in building more equitable mental health care and supports across Ontario. She has led the development and implementation of an ambitious strategic plan to redefine health, placing mental health at the centre of healthcare and including social determinants as key forces in the health and wellbeing of Canadians. As co-chair of Fair and Just CAMH, Lori has engaged widely to develop an equity and inclusion plan, creating measurable actions to support patients, staff, and the broader system of care.

Lori’s advocacy for change began prior to joining CAMH, where she served as a senior advisor to Cabinet Ministers at the federal and provincial levels. It was here that she led policy and program development across a number of areas including intergovernmental relations, children and youth, skills and labour, and finance.

Passionate about giving back to the community, Lori volunteers on a number of boards in the areas of health, research, and international development and serves as Board Chair for the national charity, Rise.

Lori graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and has completed Executive Education at Harvard University and the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management.
