Craig Ryan
Craig is Director of Social Entrepreneurship at BDC, the only bank in Canada devoted exclusively to entrepreneurs. He leads its efforts to promote social entrepreneurship by growing the B Corp movement, as well as corporate initiatives to support entrepreneurs in underserved parts of the Canadian population. He is also a noted public speaker. Craig has more than 20 years’ experience in the
public, private and civil society sectors. He has worked in developing countries on poverty reduction and health care, as a senior policy advisor to federal ministers responsible for the environment and foreign aid and as a corporate responsibility advisor to large energy and pharma companies. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and is a guest lecturer at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management
